What Solana holder clusters can and cannot show
Read funding connections and concentration evidence without confusing token accounts, shared services or sampled transfers with proven common control.

A holder list is not a list of people
Tokens live in token accounts associated with a mint and an owner. One owner may have more than one account, and a service may hold assets for many people. Comparing raw account counts with investor counts can therefore mislead. Start with the mint, identify owners where evidence permits, and distinguish known pool, burn and exchange accounts from ordinary holder concentration.
What a funding edge actually means
RugSignal's sampled graph records observed funding transfers between addresses. A shared upstream source can be worth investigating, but it does not prove that two wallets share an operator. Exchange withdrawals, distribution services and incomplete transaction history can produce ambiguous connections. The displayed edge and transaction evidence should support the claim; a visually dense map is not itself an allegation.
Understand the sampling boundary
The current deep analysis uses bounded recent transaction samples and traces at most two hops through six upstream sources. It is not an exhaustive map of all historical relationships. Missing archival access limits what can be established, and unavailable evidence is shown explicitly. First-block recipient analysis also needs complete enough launch history; a partial sample cannot establish that every early buyer was found.
Worked ownership example: two accounts, one owner
Illustrative arithmetic, not a real token finding: two accounts owned by the same wallet hold 3% and 2% of supply. The observed owner holds 5%, not two separate investors. If a second path reaches that same wallet, its 5% must still be counted once. In the connection view, compare supported associations with the sensitivity result that includes weak links. A shared service withdrawal or a dust transfer does not establish common ownership. Inspect the transaction time and basis in the accessible evidence table.
Combine evidence rather than counting lines
Review large-holder percentages, deployer exposure, funding links and market liquidity together. Concentration can amplify the effect of coordinated selling, but a high concentration alone does not predict when anyone will sell. Compare observations across timestamps rather than assuming a static map remains current. Deep analysis requires Pro access; public basic scans still expose supported deterministic signals and their limitations. A missing paid entitlement does not make a public token report more or less risky.
